Surfers Collectable Cards
Surfing South Africa and mytcg Technologies have teamed up to create a digital solution that will allow them to distribute some of the content they currently own through various digital channels.
What makes this strategic partnership so unique and powerful is the way in which it will activate SSA’s brand. For the first time in South Africa and the rest of the world, content that normally only existed in the physical real world, will be able to live in the digital-social world by making use of a single digital platform.
mytcg Tech’s platform will enable SSA to create a Digital Collectable/Trading Card game of their surfing content. These cards will contain images and statistics of surfers, which can then be collected & auctioned. Cards can also be used to play a Top Trumps style game against friends or new cards can be purchased via a virtual shop.

Each digital card has the potential to contain embedded content such as videos, photos and audio files. This, together with click through links, opens up a brand new window in which sponsors can use each piece of content as a marketing vehicle.
