The surf rich city of East London plays host to the popular 2019 edition of the Sea Harvest Nahoon Junior Open presented by Twizza Still Water at Nahoon Beach this weekend. For the third year in a row solid support from Sea Harvest and Twizza sees the event status is raised to a 3A rating on the 2019 SA Surf Tour. This means that finalists in the U12, U14 and U16 divisions will earn SAST ratings points and a share of the R15000 prizemoney, win medals and take home one of the unique wooden trophies hand crafted specifically for this contest by five time SA Champion and National Team Coach, Greg Emslie. Emslie is adding support to the contest by accommodating all the officials in his Oakhampton Guest House in Berea.

As with all Surfing South Africa SA Surf Tour contests the Sea Harvest Nahoon Junior Open will use the popular Liveheats platform which means that scores will be available on mobile devices, laptops and PC’s as they are inputted by the judges. These scores will be available from the first round until the last heat is completed on Sunday. To follow the scores go to www.liveheats.com/surfingsouthafrica and the heat draw for all six divisions is available from www.liveheats.com/surfingsouthafrica now.
